STRENGTH TRAINING 101
Learn the basics about lifting weights. In this 4 week workshop, beginners can learn about topics such as:
– tempo, rest and breathing
– proper form in common exercises
– programming
– types of weights to use/when to use them
– weight room safety and spotting
– modifications for injuries
And lots more!
Each session is 90 minutes long and will consist of the lesson in the first half, followed by a workout to apply what we’ve learned.
By the end of the 4 weeks, you’ll be confident and ready to add the benefits of weightlifting into your gym routine!
